1. Acceptance of Terms
By using GrooveGrade ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Platform.
2. Account & Data
2.1 Registration
- You may sign up via Google/Facebook or email.
- We collect:
- Required: Email, first/last name, password
- Optional: Address, gender, ethnicity, 2SLGBTQIA+ status
- No liability for third-party logins (Google/Facebook).
2.2 Data Usage
- Google Maps API: Used for location services only. No personal data is shared with Google.
- SendGrid: Sends confirmation/forgot-password emails.
- Cookies: Store session data when logged in.
2.3 User Obligations
- Keep login details secure.
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
3. Reviews & Conduct
3.1 Review Rules
All reviews must:
✅ Be honest and firsthand (no hearsay).
✅ Focus on facts, not personal attacks.
✅ Avoid:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or threats.
- False claims (e.g., "this fest has no medical staff" without proof).
- Spam, ads, or off-topic rants.
3.2 Moderation
- We may remove reviews violating these rules.
- No liability for user-generated content.
4. Disclaimers
- Festival Safety: We don’t guarantee event conditions. Attend at your own risk.
- Third-Party Links: We’re not responsible for external sites.
- Service Interruptions: No liability for outages (we’ll try to fix them fast).
5. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use = acceptance.
